A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO
PURCHASE FLOOD INSURANCE FROM AMERICAN BANKERS
INSURANCE COMPANY OF FLORIDA IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$32,380.00 FOR THE PERIOD EXTENDING FROM OCTOBER 1, 2011
THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2012; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the proper City officials are authorized to purchase flood insurance
from American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, a Florida corporation, in an amount not
to exceed $32,380.00 for the period extending from October 1, 2011 through September 30,
2012, to be funded from the General Fund.
Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on September 27, 2011.
