A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 24, 2020, the City Commission of the City of Dania Beach
adopted a budget for fiscal year 2020-21; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration's end -of -year review of City operations through
September 30, 2021 projects an estimated need for additional funding appropriations in the
General Fund, Water Fund, and Sewer Fund for consideration by the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Administration is authorized and directed to amend the City's
approved fiscal year 2020-21 budget as follows:
General Fund
Appropriation of Funds Sources / Transfer From:
Fire Chapter 175 Florida Statutes Pension Supplement 001-00-00-312-51-00 $ 167,184.67
Police Chapter 185 Florida Statutes Pension Supplement 001-00-00-312-52-00 291,908.47
Total Sources of Funding $ 459,093.14
Appropriation of Funds / Transfer To:
Fire — Pension Supplement (State reimbursement) 001-22-01-522-22-12 $ 167,184.67
Police — Pension Supplement (State reimbursement) 001-21-01-521-22-11 291,908.47
Total Uses and Appropriations $ 459,093.14
Water and Sewer Funds
Appropriation of Funds Sources / Transfer From:
Contingency — Water Utility Services 401-33-01-533-99-10 $ 31,564.00
Contingency — Sewer Utility Collection 402-35-02-535-99-10 280,387.00
Total Sources of Funding $ 311,951.00
Appropriation of Funds / Transfer To:
Utility Services — Water 401-33-01-533-43-10 $ 31,564.00
Contractual Services — Sewer 402-35-02-535-34-10 280,387.00
Total Uses and Appropriations $ 311,951.00
Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in force and take effect retroactively to
September 30, 2021 upon its passage and adoption.
