HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2013-046 Provided for transfer & appropriation of funds for FY 2012-2013 - Public Services identified a need for additional funding for roadway landscaping & maintenance RESOLUTION NO 2013-046 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR TRANSFER AND APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Dania Beach approved a budget for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 in September, 2012; and WHEREAS,the Public Services Department has identified a need for additional funding for roadway landscaping and maintenance that may properly be funded by monies currently available in the Tree Preservation Fund; and WHEREAS, the Tree Preservation Fund has an available balance of $93,818.00, as reported in the City's annual September 30, 2012, audited financial statements, which could be appropriated and transferred to the General Fund — Public Services Department for use in the current fiscal year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH,FLORIDA: Section 1. That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to amend the approved City budget as follows: Transfer of Funds: Tree Preservation Fund— Appropriation of Fund Assets account No. 102-0000-389-90-01 $23,000.00 Transfer to General Fund account No. 102-3906-541-91-00 $23,000.00 Appropriation of Funds: General Fund— Transfer from Tree Fund account No. 001-0000-3 81-01-02 $23,000.00 Public Services—Parks Maintenance account No. 001-3904-539-52-20 $23,000.00 Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 3.
