A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA,
DECLARING TWO RESCUE UNITS, A 1995 FREIGHTLINER RESCUE
TRUCK AND A 1996 FREIGHTLINER RESCUE TRUCK, TO BE
OBSOLETE, SURPLUS, AND OF NO FURTHER USE TO THE CITY OF
DANIA BEACH; DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE CITY TO DISPOSE OF
THEM AT THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Commission has determined that two vehicles, described as a
1995 Freightliner Rescue Truck, Vehicle Identification Number 1FV3GFBC2SL653910, known
as Fire Rescue Department Vehicle No. 226, and a 1996 Freightliner Rescue Truck, Vehicle
Identification Number 1FV3GFBC8TL685360, known as Fire Rescue Department Vehicle No.
227, are no longer fit for service, and they are declared to be surplus and of no further use to the
City of Dania Beach.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized by the City Commission to dispose of
such property in any manner or method which he determines will generate the most revenue to
the City.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
Section 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
