HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2006-025 Tomecek Site Plan RESOLUTION NO. 2006-025—DENIED 2/14/2006 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH,FLORIDA, APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO THE APPROVED SITE PLAN SUBMITTED BY RONALD TOMECEK,PRESIDENT,EAST FT.LAUDERDALE BUILDING CO.,INC.,FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 611 AND 615 PHIPPEN-WAITERS ROAD,DANIA BEACH; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 8.4 of Article 1 of Chapter 8 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania Beach,Florida, states that a site plan is required as a condition to the issuance of a building permit; and WHEREAS, Ronald Tomecek, President of East Ft. Lauderdale Building Co., Inc., has applied for modifications to the site plan approved by Resolution 2004-059,relating to the proposed construction of two (2) industrial buildings and associated parking at 611-615 Phippen Waiters Road, Dania Beach; and WHEREAS,Mr.Tomecek is requesting a change in the originally approved site plan which would replace the masonry fence along the east property boundary,at the rear of the building,with a wood shadow box fence and additional shrubbery; the proposed change is located adjacent to the FEC west right-of-way line; NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the proposed modifications to the site plan(SP-64-03),for property at 611 and 615 Phippen-Waiters Road, Dania Beach are approved. Section 2. That based upon the criteria set forth in Section 8-4(p)of Article 1 of Chapter 8, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania Beach, all site plan approvals shall automatically
