A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS
TO EXECUTE A COMMUNITY AESTHETIC AGREEMENT WITH THE
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ("FDOT") FOR A
MURAL TO BE INSTALLED ON THE BRIDGE LOCATED IN THE RIGHT-
OF-WAY OF FEDERAL HIGHWAY AND GRIFFIN ROAD; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Dania Beach is required to obtain Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT) approval for a decorative mural to be installed on the bridge on FDOT's
right-of-way located on Federal Highway and Griffin Road; and
WHEREAS, FDOT requires the City to enter into a Community Aesthetic Agreement
(CAA) for this project; and
WHEREAS, FDOT also requires a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign an
Agreement on behalf of the City for projects that will have an impact on an FDOT right-of-way;
and
WHEREAS, City Administration is recommending approval of a Resolution authorizing
the City to execute a CAA with FDOT to paint a mural on the bridge located at Federal Highway
and Griffin Road; and

WHEREAS, per the Agreement, the City will be responsible for the maintenance of the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the above "Whereas" clauses are ratified and confirmed, and they are
made a part of and incorporated into this Resolution by this reference.
Section 2. That the City Commission authorizes the City Manager to execute the
Community Aesthetic Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and adoption.
