ANY PERSON WHO DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING ADVISORY BOARD WITH REGARD TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THIS MEETING OR HEARING WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED. LOBBYIST REGISTRATION REQUIRED - REGISTRATION AS A LOBBYIST IN THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH IS REQUIRED IF ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION IS BEING PAID TO LOBBY THE COMMISSION ON ANY PETITION OR ISSUE PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 01-93. REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE IN THE ADMINISTRATION CENTER. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT, PERSONS NEEDING ASSISTANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THESE PROCEEDINGS SHOULD CONTACT LOUISE STILSON, CITY CLERK, 100 W. ROLL CALL PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ITEMS 1) Request by the City of Dania Beach City Commission to establish the Transit Oriented Development ("TOD") and Transit Oriented Corridor ("TOC-1" and "TOC-2") zoning districts. 2) Request by the City of Dania Beach City Commission to change the zoning designation for the following described areas as follows: a) For those properties generally bound by Old Griffin Road on the North, the FEC rail corridor on west, Stirling Road on the south, and NE 1 st Court and SE 1 st Avenue on the east, from existing zoning designations to TOD. b) For those properties generally abutting Dania Beach Boulevard and bound by SE 1st Avenue and NE 1st Court on the west, and the Dania Beach/Hollywood city limits on the east; from existing zoning designations to TOC-1. c) For those properties generally abutting Federal Highway between Sheridan Street and Stirling Road; from existing zoning designations to TOC-2. Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Meeting 1 AGENDA March 21, 2007 3) VA-13-07 — The applicant Eric Assouline, Esq., representing property owners Jacques and Rachel Assouline, is requesting a variance for property located at 213 E. Sheridan Street, Dania Beach, from the following: 1. To allow 2 wall signs, 1 on the east building elevation and 1 one the west building elevation. (Chapter 28, Zoning, Article 28.180 Principal arterial commercial design standards overlay allows only 1 sign on the south elevation). 2. To allow 2 signs 38.5 square feet in area, for a total sign area of 77 square feet; (Chapter 28, Zoning, Article 28.180 Principal arterial commercial design standards overlay allows a total sign area of 22 square feet). 4) PL-33-05 — Request by Eager Beaver Contractors for a plat approval for 9 single family houses to be constructed at the southeast corner SW 40t' Avenue and SW 58t' Street, in the City of Dania Beach.
