SPECIAL MEETING - VICTORY VILLAGE PROPERTY PURCHASE
THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2006 - 4:30 P.M.
ANY PERSON WHO DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE WITH REGARD TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THIS
MEETING OR HEARING WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE MAY NEED TO ENSURE
THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OP THE PROCEEDING IS MADE WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE
UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
EXECUTION BY THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS OF A PURCHASE AND SALE
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY WITH VICTORY VILLAS, INC., AND
VICTORY LIVING PROGRAMS, INC., FLORIDA NON-PROFIT CORPORATIONS;
COVERING THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE VICTORY LIVING FACILITY
LOCATED AT 851 WEST DANIA BEACH BOULEVARD, DANIA BEACH,
FLORIDA 33004, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN A PURCHASE
AND SALE AGREEMENT, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; FURTHER, PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (FIRST READING)

ORDINANCE NO. 2006-027
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING EXECUTION BY THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS OF A
PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY WITH
VICTORY VILLAS, INC., AND VICTORY LIVING PROGRAMS, INC.,
FLORIDA NON-PROFIT CORPORATIONS; COVERING THE PROPERTY
KNOWN AS THE VICTORY LIVING FACILITY LOCATED AT 851 WEST
DANIA BEACH BOULEVARD, DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA 33004, AND
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN A PURCHASE AND SALE
AGREEMENT, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; FURTHER, PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a Purchase and Sale Agreement between the City of Dania Beach, as
Purchaser and Victory Villas, Inc. and Victory Living Programs, Inc., Florida non-profit
corporations, as Seller and more particularly described in the Purchase and Sale Agreement, an
unexecuted copy of which Agreement is attached and made a part of this ordinance as Exhibit
"A", is approved.
Section 2. That the proper City officials are authorizedtoexecute the Purchase and
Sale Agreement on behalf of the City of Dania Beach, Florida. A copy of the Agreement is
available for inspection by any interested person in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 3. That if any section, clause, sentence or phrase of this Ordinance is for any
reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this Ordinance are repealed.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon
adoption.
