AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,"APPROVING
THE "USA BOATING CENTER" PLAT, SUCH PROPERTY BEING
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF DANIA AND LEGALLY DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A", A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THIS
ORDINANCE; ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR PUBLIC USE OF
ALL STREETS, HIGHWAYS AND ALLEYS AS SHOWN ON SUCH PLAT
OF "USA BOATING CENTER"; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA.
Section 1. That the plat of "USA Boating Center", an Ordinance of the City Of Dania
Beach, Florida, approving "USA Boating Center" plat, such property being located in the City Of
Dania Beach and legally described in exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached to this ordinance; is
hereby accepted and approved. The City of Dania Beach consents and agrees that such plat may be
recorded in the Public Records of Broward County, Florida, upon further approval of all agencies of
Broward County, Florida, having jurisdiction in the matter.
Section 2. That the dedication for public use of all streets, highways and alleys, as shown
on the plat of "USA Boating Center" Plat, is accepted by the City of Dania Beach, Florida.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately at its time of passage.
PASSED and ADOPTED on first reading on the 14T" day of November, 2000.

BETWEEN THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH AND JOHN O.
ULBRICH AND ACCEPTING $22,500.00 IN EXCHANGE
FOR FULL COMPLIANCE WITH CODE ENFORCEMENT
ACTIVITIES PERTAINING TO REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 4550 RAVENSWOOD ROAD; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of Dania Beach accepts that certain
settlement amount of $22,500.00 and the proper City officials are authorized to execute
settlement documents between the City of Dania Beach and John O. Ulbrich relating to
that certain Code Enforcement (CEB98-0068) lien filed against real property at 4550
Ravenswood Road.
Section 2. That the City Manager and City Attorney are authorized to make minor
i revisions to such Settlement Documents as are deemed necessary and proper for the

Enclosed pursuant to r� discussion is a copy of a July 20, 2000 letter I received from Mr.
Spencer and the check which accompanied it. You have already prepared the "release" documents;
Gloria Brandes of the City (associated with the City's Growth Management Department) will prepare a
"Satisfaction of Lien." I will hold the check in escrow at my firm until the enclosed copy of a
"settlement" Resolution (adopted by the City Commission at its August 8, 2000 regular meeting) and
the Satisfaction are fully executed by City officials and provided to Mr. Spencer.
If anything further is necessary to close this matter, please advise. Please also let us know when the
"release" documents have been executed, so that I can remit the settlement proceeds to the City as soon
as possible.
