The City Manager presented the agreement for the purchase of water from. the City of Fort Lauderdale and recormcn,lo<J its approval. On a motion by Commissioner Adler, seconded by Cornmis:;i,.,nr-'r Duncanson, the Commission passed unanimously the resolution arlopting the agreement. The agreoment provides for $200.0 County for e3ch resPonse of the llania ['ire Depariment in area up to 'lhe maximum of $1,400.00' 0n a motion by Com seconded by Commissioner Kay, the Comnissi,ln unanimously on a motion by commissioner Adler, seconded by commissioner Kay, the commission approved unanimously the extension of the paving contract awarded to Broward Construction Cornpany to include the building and paving of S'E' frd Avenue between 4th Tcrrace and /lh Street. 10. The commiss;icn had been r{lquested to authorize an ordinance fo be drawn y/hich wou l.l ,liVe the Fire lnspecl-or authority to make an arTest where violations o{ the I'i re code occur. This matter will be continued until Decembe.r 4 ilt in order for ordinance to be pLlbI ished. The Ci1.y l,ianai;er recommended that Judge Black be considered for city pension of $100.0C per mcnth due to his years of service- Commissioners Adler and Jai:kson commented on the dedication of Judge Black but because of legal rlr;trictions, the recommendafion was disapproved on a motion by Commissioner ,r\,jler and scconded by Conrmissioner Kay. et 0t th mis ap lir!) request to authorize the reconsideration of the annexation of the' ri:terwayts Trailer Park will be continued at the December 4th nreeting order to advertise ord inance. li.
