Home My WebLink AboutR-2024-132 BC ILA Community Shuttle Bus 4th AmendmentRES.LUTI' N No. 2024- | b'L A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT ("ILA") WITH BROWARD COLTNTY AND THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH iTBUTrttC TO COMMUNITY SHUTTLE BUS TO ADJUST THE SERVICING ROUTE FOR THE EAST AND WEST ROUTES, AND MODIFY THE OPERATING HOURS FROM MON'DAY-SATURDAY (9:00 A'M - 5:47 P'M ) TO MONDAY-SATURDAY (9:00A'M. - 6:00 P.M ); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FORAN EFFECTIVE DATE. wHEREAS, the Public Services Department awarded Invitation to Bid ("ITB") No. 2023- 004 "Community Shuttle Transportation Services" to Limousines of South Florida" pursuant Resolution No. 2023-061; and wHEREAS, the city commission authorizes the proper city officials to execute a Fourth Amendment to the existing Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the city and Broward county, which will adjust the route operating hours for the East and West routes, from Monday-Saturday (9:00 a.m. - 5:47 p.m.) to Monday-Sarurday (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p'm ), keeping the hourly rate unchanged; a copy of the Fourth Amendment to the IlAAgreement is aftached as Exhibit "A" and is incorporated into this Resolution by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the City Manager and City Attomey are authorized to make revisions to such Amendment as are deemed necessary and proper and in the best interests ofthe city. Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and adoption. Section 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 5. EXHIBIT'A' FOURTH AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN BROWARD GOUNTY AND CITY OF DANIA BEACH FOR COMMUNITY SHUTTLE SERVICE This is the Fourth Amendment (this "Amendment") to the Agreement between Broward County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida (the .,County,')' and.the city of Dania aeain, a municipal corporation located in Broward county, Florida, ord."nir"o and existing under the laws of the state of Florida (the "City") (collectively the "Parties"). RECITALS A.ThePartiesenteredintoanlnterlocalAgreementdatedoctober3'2019' asamendedJanuary25,2O2l,September24,2O2landDecemberB'2023 a,ngi"er"nt',y, which provides for Community Shuttle Service as an alternative form of public transportation for residents within the jurisdictional limits of the City. Effective as of the date of this Amendment, Exhibit A to the Agreement is hereby deleted and replaced with the Services, schedules, Routes and Maps, attached hereto as Exhibit A. 3. Effective as of the date of this Amendment, Exhibit F to the Agreement is hereby deleted and replaced with the city of Dania Beach operating Funding chart for Fiscal Year 2024, allached hereto as Exhibit F. 4.
