ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO THE ENFORCE�ENT OF PARKING ORDI-
NANCES, MAKING IT A VIOLATION TO FAIL TO PAY
A CITATION ISSUED FOR THE VIOLATION OF A PARK-
ING ORDINANCE, PROVIDING A PROCEDURE FOR EN-
FORCEKENT AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR A VIOLATION.
WHEREAS, the Municipal Courts of the State of Florida
will be abolished as of January 3, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the County Court shall be the court having
jurisdiction over all violations of municipal ordinances after
that date; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Judge of the Seventeenth Judicial
Circuit has promulgated a Local Order that will govern the pro-
cedures followed for the handling of these violations
,.including
the violations of parking ordinances;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMISSION OF
THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. It shall be a separate violation to fail
to pay any citation issued for the violation of an ordinance re-
lating to the parking of vehicles within the City.
Section 2. Upon failure to pay the fine provided by

Section 4. A violation shall be punishable by a fine
not to exceed one hundred dollars 0100-00), or imprisonment for
a period not to exceed five (5) days, or by both such fine and im-
prisonment.
Section 5. That all ordinances or parLs of ordinances
and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict,
Section 6. That this ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
