9/20/21 - Troubleshoot Level Control at Lift
Station #8. Found no 4-20 mA Level
transmitter attached to the wire. The pump may
have sucked transmitter into pump. Note
pumps are very loud and check valve arms
barely come up. Replace Level transmitter with
Keller LevelRat but sensor appears to be bad
because it reads 18.6 mA out of the water. Call
operations for new sensor but the sensor reads
exactly the same. Troubleshoot Backup Level
Control. Back up Level control is operational
now. Will return tomorrow to continue
troubleshooting Primary Level control and
assist with pulling pumps to identify why pumps
are so loud.

9/21/20 Return to site and troubleshoot
Primary Level control. Found isolator for
Telemetry system to have bad input.
Disconnect as per Darren because Telemetry
does not work and soon to be redone. Assist
pulling pump1 - found a lot of rags in volute,
also flush check valve before reinstalling
pump. Pump now sounds and operates better.
Pulled #2 pump found the 4-20 mA sensor
previously missing in intake of pump. Remove
sensor clean volute of debris and flush check
valve. Pump operates and sounds better now.
Set Primary Level control insertion depth and
back up level control. Test both level controls
and alternation of pumps.
