RE: NET CREDIT CHANGE ORDER APPROVAL - THE SPEED HUMP IMPROVEMENT PROJECT-PHASE I
Request
The Public Services Department (PSD) is requesting approval of net change order with Miguel Lopez Jr.,
Inc. for the Speed Hump Project in the amount of $9,164.00.
Background
On April 13, 2021, Miguel Lopez Jr., Inc. was awarded the Citywide Speed Hump Improvement Project via
Resolution 2021-051 in the amount of $137,014.00. The project has been completed successfully, within
schedule and under budget. Due to a change order during the construction work, there is a balance
remaining in this project of $9,164.00. This requires a net credit change order as part of the close-out.
Budgetary Impact
The closeout of the Speed Hump Project with a net credit change order in the amount of $9,164 will be
credited back to the City Streets Maintenance/Infrastructure other than Buildings Account 001 -39-06-
541-63-10 in the amount of $9,164.00.
Recommendation
Public Services is recommending approval of a net credit change order from Miguel Lopez,Jr. Inc. for the
Speed Hump Improvement Project, Phase I.
