Attached is an invoice for work to be performed on the Fish Grill dated May 25,2022 – slightly more
than 1 year ago from today. This means the Effective Date per article 6.2 is still valid.
I am OK with the start date of this work (6.3). The impacts of COVID were still high during this time
and it was hard to get contractors.

This request for funding is related to a CRA Façade Grant dating back to December 2019, awarded to
AJAS Enterprises, Inc. (The Fish Grill). The delay for this final funding is due to the owner paying his
share (30%) of the landscaping invoice and expecting the City/CRA to simply pay the balance. It took
us almost a year to convince the owner that we can only reimburse him for the paid receipt of his
payment to the vendor. However, he has finally paid the balance and now qualifies for his final
funding from the grant.
I an requesting a payment against this Façade Grant Agreement/PO 2020-00000258 in the amount of
$5,821.20, payable to AJAS Enterprises, Inc.
